Red Pepper Coulis

This vibrant Red Pepper Coulis sauce is remarkably easy to make and is an excellent partner for seafood, steak, chicken or even eggs.

INGREDIENTS

- Shallots - Butter - Roasted Red Bell Pepper - Chicken Broth - Smoked paprika - Salt - Freshly ground black pepper

An easy go-to sauce that’ll elevate your next meal. Let’s take a look.

In a large frypan, melt the butter over medium high heat. Once the bubbles start to subside, add the diced shallots. Cook for about 3 to 5 minutes, stirring often, until tender.

Cut the roasted red bell peppers into strips and add to the cooked shallots. Stir and cook until heated through. About two minutes.

Add salt, pepper and chicken broth.

Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the broth has reduced by half. This will intensify the flavor and thicken the sauce.
