Ingredients

  • 3 whole lemons quartered and seeded
  • 1/2 Cup Limoncello Liqueur
  • 6 Tablespoons rosemary fresh
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano fresh
  • 2 Tablespoons kosher salt
  • 1 pinch crushed Red pepper flakes
  • 1 1/2 cups extra virgin olive oil
  • 5 pounds chicken wings

Instructions

  • Blend the quartered lemons, limoncello and the rest of the marinade ingredients in a food processor.
  • In a bowl, fully coat the chicken wings and marinate in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
  • Remove the marinade and place wings on sheet pans. Bake or grill wings at 450 degrees for 15 minutes. Remove pans from oven and using tongs flip the wings over and switch the pans, so that the one on the top rack is now on the lower rack. Cook another 15 minutes or until wings are crispy all over. Serve immediately.
