A Party to Celebrate Muy Bueno Cookbook

Last Sunday, my friend Karen over at Savory Table threw a lovely party for our friend Yvette, Muy Bueno Cookbook, in celebration of her recently published cookbook. Lots of local bloggers were there along with an impressive array of food. We brought our cookbooks for Yvette to sign and enjoyed a lovely afternoon of friendship and celebration.

Why don’t you join the party through our photos.

Hostess Karen (right) with Yvette.

A Fiesta celebration wouldn’t be complete without Sangria.

Can you believe Karen spent all day Saturday making these wonderful tamales? They were delicious.

Love this photo of Ansh, of Spice Roots and Yvette.

I brought an appetizer of Mushroom Bread.

This is a photo of Yvette and Kirsten, My Kitchen in the Rockies.

Karen made flan. I took one bite and froze in place…it was THAT good.

And look at that beautiful plate of cookies. I’m telling you, that Karen can throw a party.

For some reason I didn’t get photos of: Barb (Creative Culinary), Holly (A Baker’s House) and Adrea (Fork, Fingers, Chopsticks).

Thanks so much to Karen for opening her house to all of us wild food bloggers and for all the delicious food.

There’s not that many of us in Denver. So yes, it’s fun to gather and talk about food and learn some blogging tricks.

I was surprised at a couple of my photos, I still don’t have my DSLR back. My little point and shoot did a pretty good job. Enjoy the bread.
